After just blogging what "reimbursement only" means in my blog about the company, Beyond Hello, I thought it would be a good way to introduce the company, A Closer Look, because they are a "reimbursement only" company...no shopper pay.
But, they specialize in dining and hotels, so a great way to get these things for free. I have shopped hotels for them in the past. It does take a bit longer than average for the industry to get reimbursed with A Closer Look; however, the wait is well worth the monetary amount of free entertainment shoppers can get from them. For shoppers new to the industry that don't have the extra funds to front the costs of these "fun" things to do, just keep A Closer Look in mind for the future.
Below is the link to their site. Here is the application process new shoppers will experience with A Closer Look:
1.) Click on link below...this will take you to their home page.
2.) From their home page, click on "Become a Shopper."
3.) Read info then click on, "Proceed to Application"
4.) Shoppers are prompted to enter their email address.
5.) Shoppers then validate their email address....the link in the validation will take you to a new page. The email link is good only for 48 hours.
6.) The new link takes shoppers to a test in which potential shoppers have 30 minutes to complete. There are 10 questions, 7 correct answers are needed to pass.
7.) If shopper passes test, they will be taken to the application.
8.) In the application, there will be a writing analysis...two paragraph minimum.
The application is a bit intense. It's these more intense applications that put the appreciation in SASSIE's simplicity...lol...but, if you like fine dining and hotels but, can't afford the costs....the little extra work is well worth it. A tidbit about the secret shopping industry...it is a great way to experience the "finer" things in life without the cost.
